How I got the name for my ferret Snoopy

I had our little girl ferret for around 2 years and then decided that I would try and see if she would get along with another ferret. I have heard stories that some do really well in groups and some don't but as I watched her I thought she seemed a bit lonely! So anyway, HOW did I end up with the name Snoopy... Well it's not an unusual name BUT it was funny how we decided on it! We were sitting in the car and had just left the pet store and were deciding if we wanted to buy him. And once we decided my son and I were trying to come up with names. Well as we sat in the car waiting for my son to get back from the video store we had the radio on. Well generally there is ALWAYS a rock station on (Not what my Husband would choose BUT we let the kids have it on! LoL!) and for some reason there was an oldies station on! I have NO idea HOW that came on but as we sat there the song "Hang On Snoopy Hang On" came on! Hahahaha! As soon as I heard that I KNEW that was to be his name. We were telling him to hang on and wait for us! I know its not that great of a story but it's funny how sometimes names are given to you! I felt it was ment to be. 

Ok so I know there are many people out there that are not too familiar with ferrets! Especially if you live in a state where they are not legal! But I would love to have the chance to tell you about what wonderful pets they make. I think a lot of the time ferrets are misunderstood. But once you learn to take care of them correctly and learn what they need it's all fun! They are the most playful animal around and are quite entertaining to watch! AND they really aren't as much work to take care of as you might think! I have had many different animals over the years but no animal can compare to a ferret! 

I would LOVE to hear some stories from those of you that have ferrets! It's really amazing what they can get up to! Soon I will be adding more pictures and hopefully will be adding videos as well! Feel free to also add pictures as well. I would love to see your beautiful fur babies! And as this blog goes on and gets up and running there will of course be more information and fun stories that will be added!
